Todd, JT, Tony and I had a nice run on Willow Creek, one of the premier whitewater runs in southcentral AK due to the clear water (most streams here are glacial and you can't see into them) and classic pool-drop character of this section of river (starting at "Guardrail"). I don't do it very often because it's a 2 hour drive from Anchorage and a short stretch of water. At this level it was a very manageable class 4, perfect for an early season shake-out.
